Victor S. Zinov
1908, Kungur, Perm region - (?) Sverdlovsk
V. Zinov graduated from the Art College in Sverdlovsk in 1928
(E.Mashkevich, P.Sinaisky's student). He devoted himself to subjects painting
mainly. During the Great Patriotic War V. Zinov was engaged in poster
designing. He took part in exhibitions beginning with 1932: "The 2nd
exhibition of Sverdlovsk Artists' Works (1937);
All-union Exhibition of Young Painters "The 20th Anniversary
of the Komsomol" (Moscow, 1939); "Soviet
Russia" (Moscow, 1960); "Art
Exhibitions of Soviet Artists (Bucharest, Helsinki, 1950); etc.
