Feofan G. Angelin

1910, the village of Beshevo, Donetsk region - 1984, Moscow

Graduated from the graphic faculty of the Moscow Art College in 1941 under A.V. Lentulov, I.E. Grabar, I.I. Chekmasov, D.S. Moor, K.N. Istomin. In 1942 he obtained a distinction with his degree work "People's Avengers", which has been later exhibited in Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts in Moscow. He worked as art-designer at the Bolshoy Theatre in 1940s. He was a member of Soviet Artists' Union.
