DREVIN ALEXANDR DAVIDOVICH

1889-1938

Studied at the Riga School of Art at V.E.Purvit workshop in 1908-1913. Member of the Associations "Knave of Diamonds" (1915-1917), "Moscow Painters" (1924-1925), "Artists of Revolutionary Russia" (1926), "Moscow Artists" (1927-1932). Participated in exibitions sinse 1912. Artist's works were exposed at the exibitions abroad:

• Berlin - 1922, 1927, 1967;
• Venice - 1924;
• Tokyo - 1927;
• Vienna, Prague, Stockholm, Oslo, Copenhagen - 1928.

In 1920-1930 was teaching drawing at the Higher Art & Tech Institute (VKhUTEIN). Acquired the status of professor in 1920.
