People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, Laureate of the USSR State Prize (1950 and 1952).

In 1943 graduated from the Moscow State V.I. Surikov Art Institute, G. Ryazhsky’s workshop.

Participated in national as well as in international exhibitions since 1939:

  • 1939 – “20th anniversary of the All-Union Leninist Young Communist League”, Moscow;
  • 1944 – “Historical Battles of the Red Army”, Moscow

and other exhibitions.

The artist’s works are exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum as well as in the Art Galleries of the cities of Kalinin (now Tver’), Sverdlovsk (now Ekaterinburg), Astrakhan’, Kostroma and some other cities.

The artist’s works were also acquired by the owners of private collections in Russia and abroad.
