Graduated from the Irkutsk Pedagogical Technical School for Art Teachers in 1938. Studied at the pictorial art faculty of the Moscow State V.I. Surikov Art Institute, A.A. Deineka workshop. Graduated summa cum laude.

After graduation taught painting and drawing at the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Art together with Deineka. Worked as a monumental art specialist at the artistic expert bureau of the Palace of Soviets construction project. Since 1967 taught monumental pictorial art at the Moscow State V.I. Surikov Art Institute (headed her personal workshop). Acquired the status of professor of monumental arts.

  • Awarded the title of Honorary Artist of RSFSR in 1985.
  • Member of the Governing Board of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1952.

Participated in all national exhibitions as well as in international exhibitions.
